Description
We currently need a couple of front desk volunteers to work varied shifts Monday-Friday, 8a-11a, 11a-2p or 2p-5p. Our potential volunteers are also required to pass a background screening, which includes being fingerprinted and be at least 18 years old and out of High School. We will also have you complete an orientation with me and shadow an existing volunteer 3 times. Some of the responsibilities of our front desk volunteers are; greeting families, answering the telephone, keeping a child company if the caregiver needs to speak with a staff member privately, baking our famous chocolate chip cookies, light housekeeping (i.e. wiping down common use areas) and keeping the kitchen stocked with snacks and drinks.
